neighbouring rock face. The local guide
enthusiastically describes the
paintings....

....but perhaps they aren't the
most spectacular examples of this art form to be found
in the Kimberleys!

A detour of a couple of
kilometres along the road towards Kalumbaru to where
the Gibb River crosses the highway is well worthwhile.
The surrounding area makes for a delightful stop-over
for lunch.
