The camp is set close to the Manning Gorge lower pool, off the main highway about 3 kilometres from the roadhouse. An idyllic site - the camp is surrounded by numerous boab trees.

The soft, fleshy bark of the boab tree lends itself to graffitti - as, indeed, Guido Steff from Germany obviously discovered in 1994!
