Above the Ecclesiastical City is situated the Chateau which is now inhabited by the Rocamadour chaplains.

One route to the Chateau (the other is by lift) is via the shaded pathway on which are placed the Stations of the Cross,

From the ramparts one can appreciate a view of the surrounding countryside and on the town below - not for the faint-hearted, though !  (Below)

And if you do happen to fall off the rampart an angel, complete with harp, will be at the bottom to greet you while you contemplate the view of the place from whence you have fallen !
