Loches : Part 1

LOCHES lies on the River Indre and some 36 kilometres south west of Tours.
Trains and buses run somewhat infrequently from Tours and the journey takes just under an hour. The station is situated across the river from the shopping area via the Pont Pierre Senard.
The Tourist Bureau (Syndicat d’Initiative) is situated in the Place de la Marne close to the bridge on the town side.
A market is held in the town each week on a Thursday.
